The premiere state university for residents of Northern San Diego County, California State University San Marcos (CSU San Marcos) is part of an established, well-respected state university system. Offering well-respected academics, CSU San Marcos also provides research and other opportunities at a substantially reduced tuition for California residents. Graduate and undergraduate degrees may be obtained at CSU San Marcos in a range of disciplines. CSU San Marcos is best known for its programs in teacher-education, the sciences and visual and performing arts, among others. Art History Criminology, Computer Science, Film Studies, Foreign Languages, Nursing and Psychology are examples of some of CSU San Marcos’ other academic majors.
